We’re all so used to being told that the human body is mostly made up of water that it’s old news.

It simply doesn’t register anymore. We’ve stopped listening. And as we’ve stopped listening we’ve stopped drinking enough water and risked our health.
Allow me to enlighten you with an update to that old chestnut: not only is water the main component in our body. And it’s not any old water. Our bodies are mostly made up of alkaline water specifically. Usually, the water in the human body is of a pH value of around 7.4.
No wonder that many health and medical specialists are now hailing alkaline water as a significant health boost possibly one of the most significant healing things that we know of. Every day we lose over two litres of alkaline water from our bodies, through sweat, urine and feces, as well as normal breathing. By the time you’re thirsty, you’re already dehydrated.
